Northwest alumnus pursues his passions in writing and music

World-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma once said, “Passion is one great force that unleashes creativity, because if you're passionate about something, then you're more willing to take risks.” Following his passions is one of the things that defines Michael Lacey, Northwest Mississippi Community College alumnus and DeSoto Center tutor. In addition to helping his students succeed, Lacey has taken the risk to follow his passions in pursuing a career in music and in becoming a published author.
