Northwest to host Sycamore Arts’ upcoming “Art-rageous” exhibit

Northwest Mississippi Community College’s February art exhibition, “Art-rageous,” will feature a variety of works by members of the Sycamore Arts Council.

The opening reception for the exhibit is set for Thursday, Feb. 6, from 5-7 p.m., and the exhibition will run from Feb. 3-March 6 in the Northwest Art Gallery on the Senatobia campus.

“Art-rageous” is one of a series of exhibits held annually in February to showcase various art applications from multiple artists.

“The Northwest gallery is the perfect space to display both 2-D and 3-D art, and we are always grateful for this opportunity,” said Karen Brown, Sycamore Arts treasurer. “Art is being gathered from across the Mid-South, and will represent diverse talents and representations of multiple gifted artists.”

Gallery hours are 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. – noon on Fridays. Admission to the gallery is free.
