INTRAMURALS

The college offers its students an intramural sports program during the late afternoon and evening hours. Included in this program are flag football, basketball, volleyball, softball, and other sports. The program is voluntary in nature and is open to all full-time students.

Redshirts or varsity athletes who have any affiliation with a varsity team are not eligible to participate in that intramural sport (for example, varsity football players may not participate in intramural flag football).

Northwest also manages recreational facilities which are available to students during the academic year. They include the Union gym and pool, tennis courts, and outdoor basketball and volleyball courts.

The intramural sports and recreational program is under the Department of Student Affairs. Intramural sports offers recreational and competitive sports activities on the Senatobia campus throughout the school year.

All students are invited and are encouraged to participate in these activities which include volleyball, basketball, softball, flag football, tennis, table tennis, billiards, and card games.

Regularly enrolled students are eligible to participate in intramural sports except those students who are members of related varsity teams. For more information on intramural sports at Northwest, please contact the intramurals manager, Cameron Blount, at cblount@northwestms.edu.
