STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES

The Student Support Services Program is federally funded to provide:

  • free tutoring in most subjects
  • career, academic, and personal counseling
  • cultural field trips
  • financial scholarships
  • academic workshops
  • campus visits to 4 year universities
  • assistance with financial aid & admission to 4 year universities

The Student Support Services Program works with 160 students who are enrolled full time (minimum of 12 hours) and are seeking to obtain a Bachelors' Degree after Northwest.

Other requirements include one or more of the following:

  • Be a First Generation college student (neither parent has a Bachelor's Degree)
  • Be a Pell Grant recipient
  • Have a learning/physical disability (medical documentation required)
