The Student Support Services Program is federally funded to provide:
- free tutoring in most subjects
- career, academic, and personal counseling
- cultural field trips
- financial scholarships
- academic workshops
- campus visits to 4 year universities
- assistance with financial aid & admission to 4 year universities
The Student Support Services Program works with 160 students who are enrolled full time (minimum of 12 hours) and are seeking to obtain a Bachelors' Degree after Northwest.
Other requirements include one or more of the following:
- Be a First Generation college student (neither parent has a Bachelor's Degree)
- Be a Pell Grant recipient
- Have a learning/physical disability (medical documentation required)
