Introduction to SolidWorks
36-Hour Course

SolidWorks is a 3 dimensional computer design program used in industry to create computer based product models and prototypes. SolidWorks utilizes a parametric feature based approach where the user generates primitive shapes or geometry and then assigns values and constraints of the design parameters to construct the computer model. From the computer model, the user can easily make design evaluations, modifications, and produce technical drawings.
This course is intended as an introduction to SolidWorks whereby the participants will gain the basic understanding and foundations of its user interface, sketching, part modeling, and various assembly applications. This course will be the foundation on which further instruction and course work into higher level operations will be built upon.  Class will include lecture and hands-on labs.

Class fee:  $225.00 (includes book)

Location:  Senatobia Campus – Tech 1
